Requirements for Home Study

Today, we received a few emails from both agengies stating what their requirements are for completing our Home Study. We are hopeful that we will only have to complete an addendum instead of starting from scratch with our Home Study. A few more things need to be discussed and decided on. We are trying to wait patiently!

Judy from Gladney sent their International Orientation Manuel for us to look over in preparation for our phone interview on Monday (June 4th). It is a little overwhelming with all the information as every agency is different and handles the adoption process differently. I am having to relearn all the policies, requirements, deadlines and dates, etc. but what is difficult is that I already had our old agency and China's policies, etc. swimming around in my head. Everyone is continuing to be patient and encouraging during this process so we don't feel like we are flying solo which is a wonderful blessing for us at this time!

We are so excited to speak with Judy on Monday and continue our journey to our children! We are trusting completely in the Lord (which has ashamedly proven to be difficult at times!) that He will continue to guide us through this process giving us His strength and His peace!

"You keep him in perfect peace whose mind is stayed on you, because he trusts in you. Trust in the Lord forever, for the Lord God is an everlasting rock." Isaiah 26:3-4.
